I need comedy right now

I think that when my father recovers from his accident, I think that he should give up mechanical engineering and help me design and market my invention: Blue's Latex Auto Snatch ("The cootchie for your car!"), an anatomically correct and 3-dimentional latex vagina that you can stick onto the back of your automobile (in the same vein as Truck Balls). We would be millionaires and I could buy a ridiculously small dog, become bulemic, and act like an idiot in public.

We could play the Bloodhound Gang in the commercials:

I need to find a
new vagina
Any kind of
new vagina
It's hard to rhyme a
word like vagina
Calvin Klein? Kind of
South Carolina

Maybe the script could even work in (heh ... I said "work in") that classic Richard Pryor joke where the guy says: "I need me some new pussy!" and the girl says: "If you had another inch of dick, you'd find some new pussy here!"

God I miss Richard Pryor's stand up.

What's happened to all the good stand-up guys? Has stand-up gone out of fashion or have my tastes changed? (I find that hard to believe. Heh ... I said "hard") Does George Carlin still perform? Stand up, I mean.

I know Denis Leary doesn't do it as much anymore. Fuck, he only has the 3 CDs out that I know of. I loves me some Denis Leary - as you may have deduced from my quote at the top.

So that just leaves Lewis Black whom I really enjoy (translation: I almost wet myself laughing. If I have to pause the CD to catch my breath, then that's a good comedian). You could guess that I'd like Black. His ... erm ... presentation is similar to Leary's. For some reason I enjoy comedians who, when they perform, if you were to sit close enough, you'd actually get spit on you. Vehement comedy, that's my style.

Of course I also enjoy Ron White and Rodney Carrington. Maybe it's just a Southern thing, or maybe it's just doubly funny when so many parts of the routine are like people you actually know.

I'm also a sucker for British comedians. Eddie is a god and Lee Evans is ... Indescribable, really. Problem with British stand-up is that I can't seem to find any on DVD. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places.

I prefer to watch stand up (as opposed to just listening). Some guys you can just listen to, some you really need to see. I enjoy Margaret Cho just as well on CD but Robin Williams, for example, loses a LOT.

So recommend me some good stand up DVDs, everybody. I really could use some right now.
