The most interesting thing that's happend to me today

I’m ill, I feel like shit. My head feels like it’s stuffed with cotton-wool and every muscle in my body aches. I didn’t sleep last night.

Can I bitch about anything else?

Oh, yeah … in my job (Serial Mom) the only bad thing is I can’t get anyone to take my shift if I’m sick. Also, since I’m preggers, I can’t fucking take hardly anything for my cold.

But I did just have something exciting happen! Well, it was exciting in a I-can’t-believe-she’d-post-this-in-her-blog kinda way.

So, here’s the scenario: I had my disgruntled baby daughter in my arms and was getting ready to put her down and give her a bottle, when I felt a wave of snot coming out of my nose.

Uh-oh … both hands full, so I sniffed instead.

And I sucked an ENORMOUS – previously unbeknowst to me – WAD of snot back into my throte and had to (almost) drop my baby girl and attempt to gag it into the rubbish bin.

Well. I missed.

So then I had this massive quivering green gob of mucous hanging off the edge of my trash bin and I’m scrambling to get a bit of tissue to scoop it up into before it hits the floor and buggers off to start a snot colony somewhere in my house.

Now how’s that for high excitement? Don’t you wish you lived here?

I do. Then I could get a quick nap.
