Sometimes this job sucks

And I mean the job of motherhood. It is a job you know, or it should be. Some people just open their knees and let nature take it's course. Then they 'parent' in a way that means the greatest convenience to them and wonder why little Cade or Camyryn is so needy and greedy.

Some of us are really working at, though.

On the subject of motherhood;I found this really cool site. This is Marrit Ingman who’s just written a book about post-partum depression called Inconsolable.

http://www.marrit.info/inconsolable.html

Read these excerpts. It’s funy and tragic and frightening all in one breath. It’s a must-read for every mom-to-be on the planet.

I have 3 and 1/3 kids and I’m no stranger to depression – I was depressive prior to ever getting preggers. But I have NEVER been through this.

I don’t care how many dry and crispy accounts on PDD that you read on the billyuns and billyuns of baby/pregnancy/parenting websites, nothing chills the soul like this first hand account.

Her blog is f*ckin’ cool too: http://www.suite102.com/baldo/
